Ganpati Gadad trek is a treat for eyes in monsoons season. This is a group of 6-7 caves near Dhasai village in murbad. This is fairly simple trek and quite enjoyable. You can enjoy various small waterfalls & streams in-route. This route is wonderful for nature lovers. Basically Ganapati gadad caves are not that famous but they are real beautiful and clean. Ganapati gadad caves are situated in small village called ‘Palu, Sonawale’ in Murbad. These caves are surrounded by many historical places such as Dhakoba fort, Jivdhan Fort, naneghat etc.

The itinerary for the Ganpati Gadad Trek will be as follows:

Day:0 – Saturday 10 Sep 2022 (Batch:1) 

• 23:00pm – Mumbai Participant
• Meeting point at Borivali national park gate on Saturday night.
• Further pickup Malad Oberai mall, Andheri Flyover end, Bandra Kalanagar Signal, Sion circle, Amar Mahal Junction, Nalanda Ghatkopar, Thane Teen hat naka, Kalyan-Bhiwani Bypass, Shahad Phata.
• Pickup timing, coordinator number and vehicle details will be shared separately post confirmation.
• Rest will be in vehicle. In route short halt for tea and washroom.

Day:1 – Sunday 11 Sep 2022 (Batch:1) 

• 05:30am – Reach base village. Wakeup call have breakfast and tea and quick freshen-up, get ready with torch and bag pack. Carry water bottles some ready eat food. Cloths double wrapped in dry bag or plastic to avoid drenched. (Rest things can kept in vehicle, except valuable items.) 
• 06:30am – Short brief and intro we will commenced trail. It will take 1hr 30 min to reach caves section. Easy and Short hike through jungle.
• 09:00am – Reach cave section, explore, photos. Get drenched in waterfall and rest for an while.
• 11:00am – Start descend back to base village.
• 12:45pm – Reach base. Change cloths get fresh-up and have lunch.
• 14:30pm – Post will start travel back.
• 22:00pm – If traffic permits, reach back mumbai and trek concluded.

• Some ready eat food like plum cake, biscuits, fruits Paratha/Thepala/Boiled Eggs/Dates Etc. (Compulsory)
• Glucon-D or Electrolytes (Compulsory)
• Drinking water min 2ltr
• Personal medicine if any
• Headlamp or Torch (Compulsory)
• Good grip shoes (Compulsory) (floaters are not allowed)
