- Sunday: 11 Aug | 18 Aug | 25 Aug 2024 (Starting on previous day / Saturday 10pm)
In case of sudden heavy rain, activities will be halted for safety reasons. If conditions allow, rappelling may be conducted at a small waterfall instead. Please note that no refunds will be provided in such circumstances.
Waterfall Rappelling 2024 itinerary:
Day 0 – 14 Aug | 17 Aug | 24 Aug 2024
- 10:00 pm – Meeting point at Borivali National Park Gate.
- Overnight travel to the base with pickup points along the route as below,
- Borivali National Park Gate | Kandivali Satyamev Jayate Selfie Point – Irani Cafe Oberai Mall – Goregoan Hub Mall – Andheri Gondavali Bus depo – Bandra Kalanagar Bus Depo – Sion Circle – Amar Mahal Junction – Ghatkopar Nalanda Bus depo – Bhandup pumping staion – Teen Hat Naka Thane – Majiwada Flyover end Thane – Kalyan Durgadi Circle.
- En-route halt for tea and washroom break at Pranjali Hotel Tokawade
Day 1 – 15 Aug | 18 Aug | 25 Aug 2024
- 04:30 am – Arrive at the base village, rest in a vehicle or villager’s house
- 05:45 am – Wake-up call, tea/breakfast, and freshen-up (3 Indian washrooms available)
- 07:15 am – Begin jungle trek towards the waterfall (30min duration) through rice fields, streams, and the jungle
- 08:30 am – Reach the waterfall, receive instructions for the activity, and start rappelling one by one (participants enjoy and wait at a safe spot after completing their rappel)
- 12:45 pm – Tentative completion of activities, wind-up, and return to the village
- 14:00 pm – Reach the village, change clothes, and enjoy a hot lunch
- 4:30 pm – Tentative return travel to Mumbai/Pune, concluding the event with cherished memories
- 4:30 pm – Reach back depending on the traffic situation.

Q. Is the washroom and changing facility available?
Basic Indian type 3 washrooms & clothes changing room are available at the base village.
Q. Rappelling into the waterfall safe?
Yes. Rappelling are controlled activity also it is carried out by our expert team. Proper instructions are given before rappelling.
Q. Can Female / Solo travelers join and do rappelling?
Yes. solo are welcome too. It is safe fully we take utmost precaution for our female travelers.
Q. What is the equipment used in the activity?
We used industry standards equipment for rappelling activities.
Q. How far is a waterfall from the base village?
It is just a 40-minute easy hike through rice fields, streams, and jungle toward the waterfall.
Q. Can mosquitoes bite in the jungle?
Due to the deep jungle, we cannot predict mosquito bites but you can use repellent.
Q. In case of heavy rain rappelling can be done?
We cannot control nature so in case of heavy rain and waterfall overflow conditions for safety purposes we will not run activity. In such case no refund.

Q. Any age or weight limit or specific requirement for rappelling?
14+ are allowed to carry out rappelling. 90 kgs are allowed for rappelling. Any fit person can join the activity.
Any BP, sugar, heart & asthma patient is not allowed to carry out an activity.
