Lingya ghat and Nisanichi vaat trek is the one of old trade route That Connects Sahyadri Western Ghat Maval region Village Dhamhanhol To Kokan village Umbardi. Lingi Pinnacle ( Structure from which the ghat gets its name Lingya).We were standing on the cusp of the Sahyadri. On the dividing line between the Konkan Plains and the Deccan Plateau. The Lingi or pinnacle stands tall at an height about 40 feet…. like a sentinel of time. Guarding the ghat wat..!!
The Kurdugad Fort also known as Vishramgad is said to have been developed during the reign of Shivaji Maharaj. Shivaji Maharaj’s Sardar Baji Pasalkar was involved in the work. It was later under the control of Peshavas. But during British rule this site had gone into obscurity. Baji Pasalkar’s descendant Shri. Dattoba Pasalkar brought this fort again in light. At the base of the hill of Vishramgad are temples of Devi Kurdai and Kurdeshwar Mahadev. The fort is sometimes called Kurdugad from the name of the base village Kurdu Peth. On the way to the fort there is one water cistern. At the northern entrance of the fort there is one bastion called Hanuman Buruj. It is named because of the presence of big idol of Hanuman near it. There is one gorge on the fort. There is one cliff as well. Existence of some water tanks can also be seen although they are now filled up with soil. A pinnacle near the southern end is separated by a col provides very good views of valleys of Konkan.
Nisanichi Vaat is one of Another Old Trade Route That Connects Sahyadri Western Ghat Village Dhamanhol To Kokan village Umbardi/Jite. This Route is steep and Short As compared to Lingya Ghat.

- 22:00pm – Mumbai Participant
- Meeting point at Borivali national park gate on Saturday night. Further pickup Malad Oberai mall, Andheri Flyover end, Bandra Kalanagar Signal, Dadar Circle, Sion Amar Mahal Junction, Nalanda Bus depot Ghatkopar, Bhandup Pumping station Signal, Airoli Circle, Turbhe, Mc-donalad Kalamboli
- Coordinator number, Vehicle details and live location will be shared post confirmation.
- In route short halt for quick washroom and tea. Rest in vehicle

Day:1 – Saturday 23 July 22 (Batch:1)
- 05:30am – Reach base village. Wakeup call have breakfast and tea and quick freshen-up, get ready with torch and bag pack. Carry water bottles some ready eat food double wrapped in dry bag or plastic to avoid drenched. (Rest extra things cloth and other can kept in vehicle, except valuable items.)
- Basic indian washroom available at village.
- 07:00am – Small intro and brief will start hike toward lingya ghat descending into main jungle. Reach lingi Pinnacle in half hr witness magical and thrilling view of sahyadri.
- 10:30am – While negotiate boulders, Jungle trail carved stairs will reach main plateau of Kurdugad. Explore fort.
- 11:00am – Descend back till junction of Lingya ghat and Nisanichi vaat from where will take right turn toward ascend of nisanichi ghat shortest but inclined trail.
- 13:30pm – Head back to village change cloths. Board back to vehicle. Half hr take halt at Lavasa lake hotel for lunch.
- 16:00pm – Finale Start travel back from the base.
- 22:30pm – Depend upon traffic condition will reach mumbai/pune
