Sandhan Valley full descend trek is not just an ordinary trek, but it’s a route that helps you overcome your fear and takes you a step closer to Mother Nature. The Great Grand Dad of all Treks – The Valley of Shadows Where you’ll hardly get to see the sunlight, isolated from the outer world, dead silence, passing through water ponds, lifeless rocks, and boulders, rappelling and echoes of your footsteps will make you feel like a presence of some entity, sleeping nearby the  waterfall with the nocturnal creatures in freezing temperature. You’ll remember this 48 hours throughout your lifetime.

Sandhan Valley, crowned as “Grand Canyon of Sahyadris” and “Valley of Shadows’, is a rock cut way formed between 2 mountain walls offering a great combination of adventure activities such as trekking, rappelling, and night camping. You’ll be making descend into the valley which has big rocks and boulders, 3 main rock patches involving rappelling. We wish to Trek, swim, and Rappel our way through this shadow-way.

Sandhan Valley Trek is categorized into two different types as below:

1) Sandhan Valley Half descend trek and Rappelling ( One day – Leaving Sat night)

In A half-decent trail we travel overnight to the base village morning trek is complete rappelling at the entrance of the valley and further trek into the deep valley where the side wall opens up and we start the same way to trek back to the base village. Easy trek for beginners and first-timers.

2) Sandhan Valley Full descend trek and Rappelling ( Two days – Leaving Fri Night )

In the full descent trail, we traveled overnight to the base village Sat morning started trekking and covered the full valley till both sides wall ended up, Rappelling, caving experience, and raw camping in mid-deep jungle. It takes around 8/9 + hours to complete the trek. Further on Sunday, we hike nearest village dehne from the base of the valley which takes a 3/4hrs gradual walk. Most recommended Sahyadri trek in winter. You need physically fit to complete the same.
